About this formula
Lookman-e-Hayat (Lookman E Hayat Tel) is a well-known traditional herbal oil with just two ingredients: black sesame (til) oil 97% and guggul resin 3%. Across Pakistan and South Asia it is best known for one thing — gently fading the look of old burn marks — and as an everyday massage oil.
What is it used for?
- Old burn marks (purane jalne ke daag): its most popular traditional use. A small amount is massaged daily into old, fully healed burn marks or scars — with regular use it is traditionally believed to soften and gradually lighten how they look. Results vary from person to person. Never use it on a fresh, open or unhealed burn — cool a fresh burn under running water and see a doctor.
- Massage (malish): warmed slightly and massaged into tired muscles and joints after a long day.
- Dry, rough skin — elbows, knees, heels and hands.
- Hair & scalp (champi) — massaged in, left 30–60 minutes, then washed out.
The manufacturer's label describes it as a traditional oil for burns, cuts, sprains, swelling and massage. We are a reseller and present it honestly as a traditional herbal oil, not a registered medicine — for any fresh injury or medical concern, see a doctor.

- Patch test first. Apply a drop to a small area of your inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If any redness or itching appears, do not use.

- Frequency: per the manufacturer's directions, use 2–3 times a day at most.

- Keep away from the eyes, and wash your hands after applying.
Questions & answers
Frequently asked questions
Kya ye purane jalne ke daag par kaam karta hai? (Does it fade old burn marks?)
This is its best-known traditional use. Massage a small amount daily into old, fully healed burn marks or scars — with regular use it is traditionally believed to soften and gradually lighten their appearance. Results vary from person to person, and it takes consistency over weeks. It must never be used on fresh, open or unhealed burns.
Can I put it on a fresh burn, cut or open wound?
No — never. For a fresh burn, cool the area under clean running water for 10–20 minutes and see a doctor. This oil is only for old, fully healed marks and for massage on healthy, unbroken skin.
How do I use it, and how often?
Patch test first (a drop on the inner forearm, wait 24 hours). Slightly warm the oil, apply a small amount, and massage gently until absorbed — up to 2–3 times a day per the manufacturer's directions. For old marks, daily consistency matters. For hair, massage into the scalp, leave 30–60 minutes, then wash.
Is it a medicine?
No. It is a traditional herbal oil for external use, not a registered medicine, and it is not a substitute for medical care. For any medical problem, please consult a doctor.
Who makes it — is this the original one?
Yes — it is the genuine Lookman E Hayat Tel manufactured by M.U. Amrelia (India). Glow Halal is a Karachi-based reseller; we sell the original, sealed product with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan.
Which size should I choose — 50ml or 100ml?
The 50ml bottle (Rs 1,800) is right for trying it or for a single small area. The 100ml bottle (Rs 3,000) is cheaper per ml — better for daily use on marks or regular massage.
