"Not stated" means the brand does not publish a full ingredient list online — it does not mean the oil contains mineral oil or fragrance. The back label of the bottle is the final word. Product names are the brands' own.
What a hair oil can and cannot do
This matters more than any brand, because it decides whether you will be happy with what you buy.

If your hair is coming out in handfuls or in patches, no bottle on any shelf in Pakistan will fix it. See a doctor and get a blood test.
Six things to check on any label
- Every ingredient named. "Herbal extracts", "ayurvedic blend" and "secret formula" are not ingredient lists. If you have any allergy, this is not optional.
- Where mineral oil sits. Mineral oil (light liquid paraffin) is not dangerous, but it is a cheap base. If it is first on the list, most of the bottle is base, not herbs.
- Allergens called out. Almond, coconut and sesame are the common ones in Pakistani hair oils. Almond is a tree nut.
- Batch number and expiry, printed and legible — not a sticker over an old date.
- Seal intact. Oils are easy to dilute and re-bottle.
- The claims. The fewer the better. "Stops hair fall in 7 days" is a warning, not a feature.

Compare per millilitre, not per bottle. A price far below the range deserves suspicion rather than delight — the cheapest bottle is usually the most diluted. Plain coconut oil costs much less than any blend, and for many people it is all they need.
How to use any hair oil properly
- Warm it slightly between your palms or by standing the bottle in warm water.
- Scalp first, fingertips not nails, five minutes in slow circles. Do not rub the lengths against each other — that is where breakage comes from.
- Leave it 30 minutes to 2 hours. Overnight is fine but adds less than people think.
- Shampoo on dry hair first, then add water. It lifts the oil in one wash instead of three, and three washes are what dry the scalp out.
- Once or twice a week. More is not better.
Who should not use a hair oil (or should choose carefully)
- Anyone with a nut, coconut or sesame allergy who cannot see the full list.
- Anyone with greasy, yellowish dandruff or a red, itchy scalp — that is often seborrhoeic dermatitis, which heavy oiling can make worse. Use an anti-dandruff shampoo and see a doctor.
- Anyone with open sores or scalp acne — see a doctor first.
- Anyone expecting regrowth. Read the table above again.

Which hair oil is best for hair fall in Pakistan?
It depends on the kind of hair fall. If hair is breaking because it is dry and brittle, any good oil used twice a week helps. If it is shedding from the root — handfuls in the shower, a widening parting, bald patches — the cause is usually inside (stress, iron, thyroid, hormones, genetics) and no oil fixes it. See a doctor.
Which hair oil is best for long hair?

Is mineral oil in hair oil bad?
No. It is safe and it does make hair feel smoother. The issue is value: if it is the main ingredient, you are paying for a cheap base rather than the herbs on the front of the bottle.
How long before I see a difference?
Softer lengths after the first wash. Less breakage in about four to six weeks of oiling twice a week. Anything promising results in days is describing marketing, not hair.
Can men and women use the same oil?
Yes. There is no meaningful difference; only the packaging is gendered.
